[WeatherVision][ZoneVision]
WeatherVision: Weather information emailed to home / office
Receive
up-to-date weather information twice a day, plotted on your OceanVision
system. Barometric, wind, wave, temperature and rainfall information
graphically presented as current, 24hr, 2 day and 3 day forecasts. Weather
information is derived from the Australian Bureau Of Meteorology's weather
model (LAPS), is processed by SatLink and delivered as email.
Weather information at home:
Providing you have the ECERS
Combo Pack, simply subscribe to SatLink's Weather Service and
the data is delivered and plotted automatically on your OceanVision
System.
Weather Information for vessels:
Providing you have OceanVision and subscribe to
the SatLink Email system, then by subscribing to the SatLink's Weather
Service, the data is delivered by an EGC email broadcast and plotted
automatically on your OceanVision System. Weather subscription costs
for this service include the broadcast costs to the vessel.

ZoneVision: SMS Messaging For Fishing Vessel Owners
Quick, easy and reliable ship to shore communication.
ZoneVision allows a vessel at sea to send SMS
messages to designated mobile phones. There are two different SMS messaging
options available to ZoneVision users; Standard SMS messaging and Event
Based messaging.
Standard Messaging
ZoneVision's standard messaging works the same as mobile phone SMS.

- Type in the mobile number and message.

Event Based Messaging
An ideal tool for quota management, ZoneVision”s
"event" based messaging system can be used in conjunction
with OceanVision and SatLink Email. When a vessel is with a specified
range of, or enters/leaves a defined no-go zone/area, such as restricted
catch quota areas or marine reserves, an SMS message is sent to a designated
mobile phone (operator/owner) confirming the location of the vessel.
