Black Box Products

The main range of Black Box Control products are associated with tracking systems.
With
Black Box Control's 1st package, a basic SMS service over GSM or CDMA
networks is provided. The system can be configured to provide periodic
polling and poll-on-demand. The mobile unit sends an SMS message of
position, time and vehicle ID to the WebVision server. The positional
information can then be displayed on the web in i-pinpoint (WebVision)
or on a dedicated PC with DisplayX (TerraVision).

Black Box Control's 2nd package, provides a Circuit Data Connection service over GSM or CDMA networks. The system can be configured to provide periodic polling and poll-on-demand. The mobile unit sends packet information containing position, time, vehicle ID to the WebVision server. The positional information can then be displayed on the web in i-pinpoint (WebVision) or on a dedicated PC with DisplayX (TerraVision).
The benefit of this package over BBC1 is the incorporation of a Data Diary that continues to record information about the mobile unit while 'out of service'. This information is then packaged and sent to the server when the unit is back in range of the network.

Black
Box Control's 3rd package, provides an 'always on' GPRS service. The
system can be configured to provide periodic polling, poll-on-demand
and live polling. The mobile unit sends packet information containing

can then be displayed on the web in i-pinpoint (WebVision) or on a dedicated
PC with DisplayX (TerraVision). This system incorporates a Data Diary
that continues to record information about the mobile unit while 'out
of service'. This information is then packaged and sent to the server
when the unit is back in range of the network.
The benefit of this package over BBC2 is cost effectiveness and 'live' positioning when in coverage. This unit can form the platform upon which to add operator or instrument input such as Driver ID systems, messaging (SMS or email), monitoring of refrigeration units and other personalised solutions.
BBC3 hardware can also be configured to utilise CDMA or satellite services where broader coverage is required such as remote areas.

Black Box Control’s Remote Controller you can not only monitor
alarm conditions but you can also turn equipment on and off via SMS.
For example you might need to turn on a pump, a light, a heater, a fan
or an alarm. The standard product can monitor four status alarms and
control three outputs. Other options are available for more complex
requirements.
